Do foreigners get Russian citizenship for military service?
Yes. Under Presidential Decree No. 690 (04.01.2024), a foreign national who signs a contract of 1 year or more receives Russian citizenship in 30 days, together with a spouse and minor children, without renouncing their current citizenship. The application is submitted directly at the recruitment centre.
