Financial compensation
A one-time payment of $29,000 on signing the contract in Moscow. Monthly allowance from $2,700, including combat and field bonuses. All payments are transferred directly to the servicemember's bank card.
State guarantees and insurance
Mandatory state life and health insurance for the servicemember up to $40,000. Lump-sum compensation for injury, full food and uniform allowance, seniority and qualification bonuses.
Professional training
General combat training and unit coordination at Ministry of Defence training centres. Modern weapons and equipment instruction. No prior military experience is required (Federal Law No. 140-FZ).
Russian citizenship in 30 days
Accelerated Russian citizenship — up to 30 calendar days from the date of application. Extends to the spouse, minor children, and parents of the servicemember (Presidential Decree No. 690).
Housing and military mortgage
Service housing or barracks accommodation for the full term of the contract. After 3 years of service — access to the Ministry of Defence mortgage savings programme (NIS) and a targeted housing loan.
Veteran status and family benefits
Official combat veteran status, tax and transport benefits, sanatorium and resort treatment. For family members: priority school enrolment, free meals for children, monthly allowances, and utility subsidies.
